Frequently Asked Questions

We recommend booking at least 2–3 months ahead for popular treks like EBC during peak season (Oct–Nov, Mar–Apr). For restricted zone treks (Manaslu, Upper Mustang), allow 3–4 months as permits are limited and require more processing time.

No formal climbing experience is needed for EBC. However, you should be comfortable walking 5–7 hours daily and be physically fit. Regular gym visits, hiking and cardio training in the 2–3 months before departure will make the trek much more enjoyable.

Altitude Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) affects some trekkers above 3,000m. Our itineraries are designed with proper acclimatisation rest days. Our guides monitor symptoms daily and carry pulse oximeters. The golden rule is: if you feel seriously unwell and it doesn't improve with rest, descend immediately.

Free cancellation is available up to 30 days before departure. Between 15–30 days: 25% of tour cost retained. Under 15 days: 50%. Under 7 days: 75%. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellation for medical or emergency reasons.

Yes, Nepal visa on arrival is available at Tribhuvan International Airport for most nationalities (USD 30 for 15 days, USD 50 for 30 days). We can send you the complete documentation checklist before you travel.

Yes! Most of our treks can be arranged for solo travellers with a private guide. The cost per person will be slightly higher than group rates. Some restricted zone treks (Manaslu) require a minimum of 2 people per group by government regulation.
